Glyn Hughes - Lawyer

Professional Background and experience

Glyn joined Morgan Coakle in April 2016 after gaining experience at a large firm where he specialised in Crown prosecutions and regulatory litigation under the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act 2009. He has prosecuted criminal trials as sole Crown counsel and has appeared as junior counsel in complex High Court trials in both the civil and criminal jurisdictions.

Areas of practice

Holding degrees in law and economics, Glyn is particularly interested in civil litigation and employment law. As well as working in those areas, Glyn assists with resolving disputes arising out of commercial and personal relationships. At Morgan Coakle, Glyn hopes to further develop his litigation skill set whilst achieving pragmatic solutions for his clients.

What I like to do outside of work

Outside of the office you are likely to find Glyn tinkering with one of his electronic music projects, playing football or adding numerous spices to a curry. He once played sport for New Zealand. If you can guess which one, there may be a chocolate fish in it for you (no cheating).
